“ The food there is fresh and tasteful. The price for the amount of food they give you is great. They open late they open early. As soon as you step in you can smell the food. It's very tasty.its right on the avenue and very convenient to get to. If you live near 135th st.you are lucky cause you can just walk right up the street. ”

“ So I know the reviews here are abysmal, but I was craving soul-ish food and decided to go for it anyway. Overall, I really enjoyed this meal and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the medium fry chicken special with rice and peas and cabbage (but got collard greens), a side of Mac and cheese, a side of plantains, and a slice of carrot cake. I was hungryyyy. Apparently, they ran out of plantains which I didn't understand, but I still got three meals out of that order! Containers were stuffed and prices are affordable -specials with 2 sides included run from$6-10, and additional sides appear to be $4-9. Food was lukewarm at best, but this seemed to be an issue with the delivery service. I get the feeling this place is probably a hit or miss (I am curious as to how my Jamaican friends would rate it), but I'd be willing to press my luck again! ”
“ Had a craving for Jamaican food yesterday while in my old hood in Harlem. Was sad to see People's Jamaican joint across from Popeyes on 145th & 8th close as well as Taste of Seafood spot on 145th & 7th. This spot was only option & it sufficed. $15 Medium Oxtail with peas & rice & sweet plantains hit the spot but was not as well seasoned as I've had. Portion was good & service was quick. ”
